Several coats of heavily pigmented stain saturate the wood for rich, beautiful color. These finishes are semi-opaque, meaning some of the natural beauty of the wood grain may be visible. The wood in every door and drawer front naturally expands and contracts over time, so it’s normal to see joint lines — this is part of the beauty of a painted finish. To complete the finish process, the DuraKraft™ topcoat is applied, oven-cured and hand-sanded between coats for a beautiful, long-lasting finish. Denotes a key technique that creates the unique appearance of this finish.
